Full spool means greater diameter, which means more line taken in per turn of the reel, which means a higher gear.

So fishfinder doesn't scan the buttom in angle in front, it's just scaning exactly vertical angle, right? So I need to pass the specific place, fishfinder will give me a picture and I will see what is there. I thought it will work absolutely different. I meant it will show me what will be in front of me, at least 15 meters forward and I will decide what to do next

I have a helix 7 gn4 chirp mega si and mega di. I have been told by a few people that to enjoy the mega si feature that I need a different transducer then the machine came with. But I can enjoy the mega di with the ducer it came with. What iss the truth. Thank you. Judge confused

Absolutely smashed flipping some laydowns this past weekend with the ozark rig. That and a 3/4 oz shakey head on some steep points.

That is not even close to a "mini" glide. I m throwing 2.5 to 3 inch baits with my Aldeberran 22.

Old school hair jigs. Used a lot back in the day in south Florida. Freshwater & saltwater. 🎣

Another good video with lots of good information. Most of my friends call me cheap and that is true but that glide bait is waaay out of my price range, that's just crazy price for single lure. I have been catching fish on Berkley big game for decades now, I also fish fluorocarbons…. Honestly , I experience more break offs and knot failure with fluorocarbons. Eight pound test big game actually breaks at about 12 pound ….pretty tough stuff, and the price is very nice.

Seeing those small dots I almost overlooked them! The things like that are what I'm referring to about finding fish.

To me, not using a sonar, taking what you've learned, finding, and catching fish is skill

Big key factors fish slower when hunting big fish. Big fish dont exert alot of energy finding food. You hook one hang on! Shell fight you awhile 😊 if i only have say 3 to 4 hours to fish ill spend a total of 20 to 25 minutes locating birds. You find seagulls and ducks you find bait fish you find bait fish you find fish. Bigger fish will pluck off injured bait from birds. If you find where bigger fish are an you have 1 hr window. Spend 5 minutes on big fish area. Then go to area close by with 2 to 3 lb fish. Go back and forth in that hour. Be sure 2 to 3 lb fish is close to big fish. If not spend 5 minutes max. Then get to area safely and fast to big fish. 5 minutes. Yes, set a timer for 5 minutes then move to next area.

GARMIN is where all the cool kids are moving to for the live view action where I fish in British Columbia, Canada. The new transducer looks a lot like the head of a golf club lol.

I know what rick is saying. I saw a trophy jump in the water as i worked in an area. The big bass had jumped for a fly. 😮 I threw my fly in the area, and nope. 😢 no, Joke, this fish was at least 6 to 7 lbs 😮 I tried in the general area and could not land big mama. 3 huge fish i saw i couldn't land are going to haunt me. A big smallie and striper, then a big largemouth bass super dark. This told me this fish is in either grass or thick brush with pockets out deep. I will eventually land her. I know where this heavy grass is. I have a bigger rod to reach her. 😊

Sometimes, all i have is 2 hours to fish. Plus, i fish from the shore. I dont have 2 hrs to locate forage. Sadly, fishing from the shore a lot of times, bait fish are out of my reach. I'll try to at least cast close to bait fish. I bought a 7-foot spinning rod and reel combo. Hopefully, now, I'll be able to reach bait fish.

Did you ever trick out your kayak. I have one with Lowrance Elite FS9 with Motorguide Xi3 which can be controlled from Depth finder. Just point kayak to destination and fish away. Still haven’t caught a fish though.

I’m looking forward to using the Ozark rig on my fishing trip. Question on the finesse TUSH. How do you rig a Keitech 2.8 on the 1/8 TUSH without bursting the body of the bait? I can rig a 3.3 with no problem. Any guidance will be appreciated. I assure you that I have retired all my swim bait tackle except under spins thanks to Core Tackle inventions.
